Our annual Soul Winning Marathon kicked off on last Thursday, August 13. Evangelist Freddy Reed and his 20/20 Vision Team came in to town to help with this exciting event. The marathon started on Thursday afternoon and continued through Saturday afternoon. There were over 70 soulwinners on the streets of Rio Rancho and Albuquerque. Many soul winners went out all day and some soul winners stayed out until 11 pm or later. God blessed the dedication of our soul winners and by the end of our three day soul winning marathon, God had given us 1,082 souls saved!

Soul winning is the heartbeat of our ministries and we believe there is nothing more important than leading someone to receive Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour. There are many opportunities on a weekly basis to come and get involved in our soul winning ministry. We have soul winning leaders in place to train anyone wanting to learn how to lead someone to Christ.

God Blesses in a great way at our annual Rocky Mountain Baptist Teen Camp

What a wonderful week we had at teen camp this year! We had 85 teens from 7 different churches attend. During the whole week, we had a men's singing group from Hyles-Anderson College in Crown Point, IN. For part of the week, we had a men's singing group from Golden State Baptist College in Santa Clara, CA. Bro. Anthony Collins from Hyles-Anderson was the main speaker and God used him in a great way to stir the hearts of the young people. Many decisions were made and 3 teenagers trusted Christ as their Saviour.

Rocky Mountain Teen Camp

June 22-26

Teen Camp is always a highlight of our summer schedule. Pastor Lenentine is very committed to providing fun, spirit-filled, and challenging summer camps for our young people, for it was at a youth camp that Pastor, as a young boy, was saved. Every summer we load up and head off to a campground facility in beautiful southern Colorado. Our church staff and church members work as the counsellors and chaperones and the events and schedule of the week are prayerfully planned by our own church staff. 

The week will be filled with team games, devotions, preaching from God's Word, singing from the Hylander Singing Men from Hyles-Anderson College, and even white water rafting; however, the greatest benefit of camp is what the campers and even the counsellors take home from camp. The week is scheduled to include ample time of realigning for the campers. Teen camp provides an opportunity to get away from the hustle and business of life and be reminded again of what is important. We spend much time challenging the teenagers to have a closer relationship with God, their parents, their Pastors, and other young Christians. God has always used teen camp to provide an atmosphere where life-changing decisions are made.
